Psychotherapy addresses a range of emotional and behavioral problems.
Psychotherapy is conducted at a frequency of 1-2 times a week. We will examine the history of the problem that brings you to therapy including its onset, duration, and the triggers that make it worse. We will look at the problem in the context of your relationships, work or school life, physical health, cultural heritage, and other factors you deem important. We tap into the underlying maladaptive emotions, thoughts, beliefs, and repetitive patterns that may keep the problem from resolving. Then, we set to work on coming up with strategies to reach your goal of overcoming the problem.
